Alpaca Association set to improve sustainability

The Australian Alpaca Association (AAA) is working on a new sustainability framework to keep in line with other livestock industries. This framework will help new and existing members by creating a platform where the industry works as one, and with a set of rules and guidelines will make our alpaca industry world-leading. It will show the public how our industry cares and manages their livestock to be sustainable and environmentally responsible.

More information will be available shortly on the AAA website. Consultations are taking place with some of the main stakeholders and trials of this new system will hopefully begin later this year.
